The project tasks are carried out by a national expert working group. The executive governmental body is the Agency for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The group includes experienced staff members representing a wide variety of backgrounds and expertise. These include the fields of Academics, Earth Sciences, Government, Civil Defense, and Humanitarian and non-governmental organizations.
